James Stytle brought the message this morning, walking the congregation through the lectionary scripture from John. Verse 19 picks up right after Mary has seen the resurrected Jesus and gone to tell the disciples. James did a wonderful job of helping us understand the setting, background and emotions that the disciples must have been feeling as they gathered in a locked room. All of the remaining disciples were there except for Thomas. Jesus reveals himself to them and gives them an assignment by sending them out to share the Good News. We are also sent to share that same Good News nearly 2000 years later. To whom is God sending you?
